The boys and I have just had a fabulous week of spring ski-ing at Mount Hotham! Sure, not all the runs were open but enough were with groomed slopes, glorious sunshine and no lift queues!! We ski-ed ourselves silly, added some freckles to the nose and had a lovely time with good friends. It was the perfect antidote to a stressful five day rewrite of Emily and Linton’s story.
Now we’re home and I was thrilled to get an email from my editor saying she liked the rewrites…phew!
So now there is one more week of school holidays where I juggle kids and non writing job and starting Flynn and Mia’s story. I just have to work out why Flynn doesn’t want to fall in love the moment he meets the gorgeous Mia……

The sun is shining, spring is here and I’ve just got back from a school excursion where the grade 3 & 4s are learning about the history of our town. We walked 4 kilometres and I’m ready for a nap!
I shouldn’t need one but the moment I handed in my book on Friday I came down with a bad cold. Why is it that the moment the pressure is off I get sick? Anyway, I’m on the improve and have spent my time catching up on the Gilmore Girls
