THE END

I just typed ‘The End’ on Labour of Love. Toward the end, I have to tell you it was so not a labour of love! I proof as I go, chapter by chapter so by the time I get to the end I have read the book so many times my eyes glaze over. Luckily I have a wonderful CP, Serena Tatti who reads along with me and fixes all my grammar! She is a treasure.

So 19 pages left to proof and then my fifth book is off to London. Finger’s crossed. I got it finished before the RWAustralia conference and before things heat up for my first Australian release. Yes! Pregnant on Arrival will be on the shelf on August 14th. The countdown is on 🙂

  1. Congrats on finishing, Fiona.

    That’s great!

Now you can sit back and enjoy the conference, your first as a published author. How special is it going to be? 🙂

And with your first book released at the same time!!! Soooo looking forward to celebrating with you 🙂

  2. Aw, shucks, Fiona. There’s rarely much to fix in your chapters. In fact I have to remember to critique sometimes because I get so caught up in the story! That’s no mean feat to another writer 🙂

Can’t wait to see Pregnant On Arrival onshelf (just ten more sleeps!!) so I can tell everyone, “That’s written by my friend. You should buy it. It’s great!” 🙂
    Hugs

  3. Wow, how amazing! Five bokos done and as Nic said this will be your first conference as a pubbed author.

I’m sorry but that just puts the rest of us to shame!!!

Now send her off so you can relax and have a fab weekend!!!
